Inside Scoop: Eclectic Brussels Apartment

24.04.13

Hello! I am back today with another ‘Inside Scoop’, this time featuring a gorgeous eclectic apartment I photographed for my most recently published Houzz column. For this tour, I ventured to the Brussels home of colour specialist and interior designer Corinne Kowal, who authors the blog Emerald Green Interiors. You will notice if you head over there that I am currently guest blogging for her while she spends some time with her newborn son. I can’t wait to share these inside images with you, because I had a ball shooting this space. Corinne and her husband are renting their home, and it was so interesting to see that the apartment’s modern lines didn’t hinder Corinne’s ability to infuse their contemporary home with her favorite design styles. In this light and bright family home, Art Deco, antique, retro vintage and modern pieces all weave together to form an eclectic mix of old and new. And the best part is that all of these styles merge together so seamlessly thanks to Corinne’s cleverly selected colour palette. I hope you enjoy these insider’s shots you won’t find on the article!

I hope you enjoyed that little peek into Corinne’s Brussels home. If you’re keen to know the story behind this home and see more imagery, head over to Houzz and have a read.

Have a lovely Wednesday. I will be out shooting another inspiring interior, so stay tuned!

    Photo number seven,
such a calm little sitting corner. I’m enjoying creating special little corners around our home for my two year old at the moment.
Holly I really enjoy looking at creative spaces through your eyes. Great photos.
