Shop Tour: Harvest & Co. Amsterdam

27.11.13

Hey there! How are you guys? As you know things are a little hectic on my end at the moment with the house renovations {which have kind of stopped now that we are both back at work again} but amid the craziness of my upside-down home, I wanted to drop in to share a gorgeous shop with you! A couple of weeks ago, I hosted a small gathering for some bloggers who are currently enrolled in the Blogging Your Way e-course taught by Holly Becker of Decor8. When I put my hand up to host the event, I immediately knew I wanted it to be held at Harvest & Company, a beautiful interiors boutique in Amsterdam having recently met the owners at a Kinfolk dinner. Filled to the brim with industrial and vintage finds, I knew it was the perfect spot to sit with a few new friends and talk all things photography, camera settings, blogging and living an inspired life. We chatted over coffee and fresh baked carrot cake, and when I was sufficiently talked out, I pulled out my camera so I could share the surroundings with you later on.

Located in a former butcher turned plumbers workshop, Harvest & Co. features original ornamented ceilings in the garage area {where we ate cake and drank coffee} and loads of natural light in the shop front. The workshop is where all of the magic happens, where the Harvest & Co. team restore the treasures before they hit the shelves. Co-owners Denise van Gastel and Jeroen Woltman gather items found in the shop {their harvest} from all over the place, offering shoppers a unique and carefully curated selection of treasures that celebrate quality and craftsmanship.

Those who love industrial furniture and unique vintage pieces will LOVE this shop! It was like a treasure trove, with something new and lovely around veery corner. It was not just a feast for the eyes and imagination, but for all of the senses. Lilies in full bloom filled the space with the most beautiful aroma. It was just the kind of place I needed during what has been a stressful time for me.

Harvest & Company is located at Tweede Helmersstraat 90-96, 1054 CN Amsterdam and is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 07:00 – 19:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 – 19:00.

Character by the bucketload and a huge selection of goodies makes Harvest & Co. a truly special find. If you pop in for a visit, let me know what you thought (and bought!). Trust me, it will be hard to leave there empty handed. If you haven’t seen enough, be sure to visit Mein Gefangen and Kaffiknopf for more shop candy by two lovely ladies who attended the meet up .

See you back here soon!
