A couple of months ago I was asked by the wedding photographer Anouschka Rokebrand {you’ll recognize her name because we work together often and she photographed my own wedding} to style her first ever photography workshop, which was to be captured by her photographer attendees. The day was a roaring success. I had the best time creating a look and feel that felt every inch Anouschka’s signature style and seeing the attendees eat it up with their lenses brought such joy to my heart. Right before my wedding, I was thrilled to see that the table setting I styled had been featured on the amazing lifestyle blog Style Me Pretty Living and I’ve been dying to show you the results!
The moment Anouschka asked me to style her workshop, I set to work creating moodboards and gathering ideas. I began with choosing a colour palette of blush pink, creams, deep berry tones and a hint of brassy gold. Below are the moodboards I put together for her which formed the basis of the end result.
Feminine, fresh and timeless with a touch of glam was the direction I was going for – the very look that Anouschka so beautifully embodies as a pro wedding photographer.
I wanted the overall look to be glam without being over the top, so had two loosely arranged, whimsical floral centerpieces made, beside which clusters of antique brass candlesticks with delicate stems added a touch of drama. Natural elements were subtly thrown in to keep the look casually elegant. Here are the gorgeous results from a fabulous day!
I created personal honeypot favors for each setting (I loved that the miniature jars came with a brass colored lid!) finishing them off with a piece of blush colored ribbon and natural twine. Balancing on the rim of each champagne glass was a blueberry and blackberry skewer. With soft blush and cream tones as the base palette, I thought some deep blackberry tones would kick the look up a notch, while elements of gold will infuse that glam look that I know Anouschka loves.
For her workshop, Anouschka teamed up with several fantastic vendors which provided the pretties I worked with on the day, including gorgeous stationary by Lucky Penny Paperie, flatware, glassware and brassware from Helene Millot Furnishings {was I in heaven sorting through her collections and selecting which items I’d be using for the workshops. And then I found the perfect items in her collection for my wedding, and the rest was history!}, flowers by Don Florito and a super sweet cake from Sugarlips Cakes. I wanted to create a look that seamlessly and stylishly weaved all these elements together on one beautiful table.
I had such fun creating this inspirational setting, not to mention seeing all those talented photographers devour it with their lenses! There was also a gorgeous bride and groom on the day being photographed. You can see the entire collection of images from the day here and here and in the Style Me Pretty gallery.

Right back at you, Anouschka! x
Beautiful! The pair of you make such a good team, love how soft and feminine it all feels 🙂
Thank you, Ciara. We love working together, Ciara, which I am sure makes all the difference. We just seem to know what the other wants without too much exchange. Enjoyed this one very much!
