Hey guys, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a styling workshop at the second edition of the stunning wedding event Engaged on 26 October! Last year I hosted a floral workshop, and this year the focus is on styling your wedding table to absolute perfection.

Our Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty
I’m not planning on walking down the aisle again, so seeing our wedding featured on the pages of my all time favourite wedding blog Style Me Pretty comes not only as a huge and very exciting surprise, but also as the closure of one of the biggest, most intense, most beautiful chapters of our lives thus far. The news came while we were enjoying a long weekend in France {a mini honeymoon, courtesy of my brothers and sister in law as a wedding gift} and couldn’t have been better timing! Reason enough for us to have an extra special toast to a fabulous, emotion filled day and a beautiful start to a long, love-filled marriage.
Wrap it Pretty with Flowers
I told you about the fresh flower workshop I led at a charming lifestyle event called Fort Festijn near Amsterdam over the weekend. I showed my attendees how to create fresh floral headbands, which you can read about here. But I also offered all the materials and ideas for people to make their own beautifully wrapped gift box using fabrics and fresh flowers. It’s so much fun to give something thoughtful but also to go the extra mile and wrap in thoughtfully into a pretty package!
Styled: Photography Workshop with Anouschka Rokebrand
A couple of months ago I was asked by the wedding photographer Anouschka Rokebrand {you’ll recognize her name because we work together often and she photographed my own wedding} to style her first ever photography workshop, which was to be captured by her photographer attendees. The day was a roaring success. I had the best time creating a look and feel that felt every inch Anouschka’s signature style and seeing the attendees eat it up with their lenses brought such joy to my heart. Right before my wedding, I was thrilled to see that the table setting I styled had been featured on the amazing lifestyle blog Style Me Pretty Living and I’ve been dying to show you the results!
Wedding Files Part V: Our Wedding Photographed on Film
So I know I said I would split the wedding into four parts and officially closed the Wedding Files series last week, but then our film photographs arrived back from the lab, and I just couldn’t keep them to myself so guys, with much excitement I present to you part five! When our photographer Anouschka Rokebrand asked me if I’d like to her shoot our big day in film as well as digital, I was so excited because I adore film photographs for their raw, soft and light quality. So here they are folks, my favorite shots on film.
Wedding Files: Part IV – Love Shoot, Reception & Dinner
This is it, guys! The last ever Wedding Files column that I will ever write! It feels strange as it’s the closure of a huge and all consuming chapter of my life, but it’s wonderful at the same time to have all of these memories to refer back to later on. So by now you have seen the venue and bridal prep, the tables and five gorgeous bridesmaids, and the pre wedding shoot followed by the ceremony. Today I am taking you through the post ceremony love shoot and snippets of our reception. To round the series off, I am also excited to share with you something very special and dear to my heart – our wedding video. Created by Ray Pluym Cinematography, it is a 7 minute peek into our day. Enjoy!
Wedding Files: Part III – Shoot & Ceremony
Ready for Part III of the wedding? I did promise it to you on Monday but I have been spending some quality time with my best friend before she jetted back to Australia. So today I am taking you through our pre ceremony photo shoot and the ceremony itself. If you missed out on the last two parts to this little love story, get the scoop in Part I where I shared all of the images of me and the bridal party getting ready, and Part II where you’ll find gorgeous bridesmaids and perfectly laid tables. Our photographer Anouschka Rokebrand did such a fabulous job with the images that I couldn’t do it all justice with one blog post, so this next installment is part of a four-part series, which I hope you’re loving as much as me.
Wedding Files: Part II – Bridesmaids, Table Settings and a Very Personal Story
Hello again! Back today as promised with Part II of the Wedding Files series. I promise I’ll be back to posting about inspiring interiors, styling and photography very soon but for now I’m so excited to share with you my special day. Did you enjoy Part I as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you? It’s so surreal that all of that magic happened (and boy did it all happen fast!) and now it feels like some sort of dream. Speaking of dreamy things, I have more stunning images to show you today, this time of my gorgeous bridesmaids, the table settings and a couple of shots taken right after getting ready in the space downstairs.
